Punch and slippers during Advent

When the days get shorter and the temperatures drop, it's the right time to cozy up at home with punch and slippers.

Whether after a hike, a nice walk or a cozy movie night: the popular hot drink is a real classic and fits well into this time of year. The right slippers to keep your feet cozy and warm are a must.

With apples, Christmas spices, eggnog or just as delicious non-alcoholic - punch is available in different, delicious variations. The versatile hot drink is easy to make yourself and makes us feel cozy.

We reveal three delicious recipes that are easy to prepare. And we recommend our wonderfully cozy slippers to go with them.

Children's punch

Preparation:
Heat the apple juice with the cinnamon and leave to infuse to taste. Add orange juice and lemon, sweeten if necessary and heat the punch until the sugar has dissolved.
Tip: Slices of an organic orange are suitable for decoration

Preparation time: approx. 10 minutes, approx. 5 cups

Ingredients:

1 liter apple juice
200 ml orange juice
Lemon juice to taste
1 stick of cinnamon
1 tbsp sugar if required

Many of the punch recipes can easily be converted into a children's or alcohol-free version by using different juices.

Homemade eggnog

It doesn't just taste good at Christmas: Creamy and with a dollop of cream, eggnog is a real treat for the palate!

Preparation:
Whisk the sugar and egg together with the cinnamon and lemon juice for 10 minutes until a thick foam has formed. Pour the egg foam into a tall pan, add the wine and rum and heat over a low heat while stirring. Important: Do not allow the drink to boil! Then whisk again and serve immediately.

Preparation time:approx. 20 minutes, approx. 5 cups

Ingredients:

8 fresh egg yolks (organic eggs)
800 ml white wine
150 g sugar
4 tbsp rum
2-3 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp cinnamon

Tip:: If you want to make it quickly, you can also use ready-made egg liqueur.

Christmas punch

The popular classic is a must.

Preparation:
SBrew the black tea.
Thinly peel the oranges and lemons with a peeler and then squeeze out the juice. Pour the red wine into a large pan.
Add the tea, schnapps, juice, 1 dash of orange juice, cinnamon sticks, sugar, a good dash of rum and the orange/lemon peel. Heat slowly, keep stirring and tasting. Do not boil! Leave to infuse, cool and pour into bottles through a sieve.

Preparation time: approx. 30 minutes, approx. 8 cups

Ingredients:

2 liters tart red wine
400 g white sugar
1 liter black tea
250 ml klarer Schnaps
2 cinnamon sticks
2 oranges fresh, organic
2 lemons fresh, organic
1 shot of rum
1 dash of orange juice
