Fit for the day - what do we do with our feet?

Exclusive tips from Dr. Norbert L. Becker
Staying fit at home during the day - what do we do with our feet?

It starts early in the morning when we wake up: When stretching and straightening in bed, we must not forget our feet. They should be pushed away towards the end of the bed, against an imaginary resistance or, if or, if available, against the edge of the bed. Don't forget to spread your toes to prepare them well for their daily demands.

Then pull your feet upwards so that you can feel a clear stretch in your calves. After at least 10 repetitions, circle your feet clockwise several times, counterclockwise several times and then do everything again in the opposite direction. This is yoga for your feet in bed! Before you get up, take a short bike ride with approx. 10 rotations in bed forwards and then backwards.

After getting out of bed, stretch your whole body, stand on the balls of your feet and your toes, become very tall and stretch your arm and leg muscles. Raise your heels and walk a few
a few steps on the ball of your foot.

Massaging the sole of the foot is very beneficial for waking up and activating the muscles. With the help of a tennis ball, a wooden ball or the "meinbruno", on which you roll the sole of your foot vigorously, you stretch and activate the plantar fascia running through the sole of your foot. This activates areas of the sole of the foot that are also addressed in acupuncture and foot reflexology. You will experience that you feel refreshed and more energetic than before the exercises.

Even when walking barefoot to the bathroom, you can walk on the outer edge of the foot for a while and then on the inside of the foot again. A few steps on the balls of your feet and then alternately on your heels not only stimulates and strengthens your foot muscles but also trains your sensory system for balance and keeping your body in equilibrium. If you stretch and stretch at the same time, you'll be wide awake before you even get to the bathroom.

Who thinks about exercising their feet while brushing their teeth? Only those who regularly visit the Bear page! Stand alternately on the left leg and then on the right leg again. If you stand on one leg 5 times for 20 seconds while brushing your teeth, you can even be sure that your teeth have been cleaned properly! Your dentist will confirm it.

When putting on stockings, the toes are often pressed together and squashed because the stockings are either too short or knitted round at the front. A little trick can help here: After you have put the stockings on, pull the stocking slightly forward again over the toes, spread the toes and move the toes in the stocking. Your toes will enjoy this new freedom. Our recommendation for you: Zehensocken, Correct toes , meinBruno
